Clips protrude beyond sole a bit too much.

Looks nicer than my 25 yo cannondale shoes, but the SPD clips hit the floor when you walk.

I was hoping to have a pair of shoes I could casually bike to a social event in, and not worry about scratching the floors or slipping.

The search for a solid shoe that allows for a casual night out continues. Just wish I hadn't burned $130 on the experiment.

    Built for abuse

Built for abuse. These shoes are stiff and a bit heavy, but still good for all-day wear around the office. The size chart is accurate for length. They’re great for my current three mile commute, and expect them to handle 10-15 mile commute without issues.

It's a good pair of shoes.

I'm very satisfied with style, durability. Especially the high tops that protect my ankles are useful. It's a little heavy compared to professional cycling shoes, but it's acceptable.

Probably 5 stars only if Chuck T's fit you perfectly.

Converse Chucks are very narrow in the toe box and so are these shoes, so they're not entirely comfortable for me but they do what they need to do for commuting and as cleat compatible office wear. Lacing them to the top (they're mid-tops) cuts off my ankle circulation. Temps under 60d they're very cold, so winter in the Bay Area or LA they're not ideal. Not sure I'd buy them again.
