    super comfortable and look great!

Tight in crotch and zipper constantly coming down.

I get these really high expectations for certain items that I think will solve all my problems. I thought this would solve my problem of having to change all my clothes after my bike commute by offering me a great fitting commute pant that also looks good. However, not the case. The zipper is this weird chunky one, like you would find on a jacket, and does not stay up. Thankfully I usually wear long shirts but usually if I remember to check, my fly is down. The crotch area is also tight so I am adjusting it often which is awkward. Also, the length is very long so I had to get them hemmed at a local shop to be able to make them function (I am 5'3") which added another $16 to the cost of these pants. Unfortunately I have worn them a few times so of course I cannot return them but that is really unfortunate as the zipper thing did not make itself known to me til I took them for a ride. So frustrating - I really wished these were going to be my magical work pants to solve annoying commuting issues.

I like the style and feel

The pants are kinda small, for the size I ordered 4, but I might have to order the next size up and have it tailored. The hips fit very well. No gap at the waist. what makes these not a good fit is probably that the crotch curve is too shallow. Horizontal puckering at the bottom of the zipper & thighs. It would have been helpful to know the inseam of the pants. Meaning it should be listed.

put your money where your mouth is

I was so happy to see Chrome bring back the women's line that I had to buy something. You can't complain about a lack of women's urban cycling apparel and then not buy it when it comes out, right??? Love the design and fit of these pants, and was glad to see all the thoughtful design details that women's clothing so often lacks. From the super comfy elastic waistband, to the tiny pocket within your front pocket, to the zippered security pocket, this pant was thought out. My advice is to size down, the recovery on the fabric of this pant is very low, so it will get pretty loose as you wear it. I love the design and fit, (got a small waist and bigger thighs), but think if the fabric were upgraded to something more durable it would be a definite 5 star.

    Sizing is totally weird

I am 5'9, 210 lbs, athletic build. I usually wear a size 14. While I appreciate that Chrome even makes these in a 14, I'm not sure any curvy or bigger folks would like these pants. The majority of the pants seemed to be truly size 14 but the actual waist is a full size or even two sizes smaller. The hips and legs fit well but there way no way I could comfortably wear them because the waist was cut so small. Returned. The 3 stars is because they seem really well and thoughtfully made, with nice materials and nice details.
