I wanted to love these shorts so much. In fairness, there's a lot of good things to say about them: the pockets, lock holder, colour choices and in-the-saddle comfort are all amazing. But the cut/fit is very strange. They have a huge gape at the back, although they fit on the hips (and I'm not wildly curvy). The worst thing, though, is that they ride up SO MUCH when worn on the bike. Like, tiny hotpants, even on my short legs. I've worn them once, for about five minutes – I had to go home and put something else on because I felt so exposed. Doubt I'll wear them again. If you don't mind very short shorts, buy them.

Great fit and high quality materials

I'm 5'2" 110lbs and the 0 fits great. There is a small gap in the back but really doesn't bother me at all. The material is thick but stretchy and stays dry even when I'm sweating. Well constructed with sturdy zippers. I personally don't like the envelope pockets. It is a pain to get things in and out. I feel the pockets are deep enough that nothing would fall out anyways but I guess it is better safe than sorry!

    2nd times a charm

I went up a size and it was a much better fit. I do have one qualm is that the front of the waist should curve downwards more. Also, taper the waist to account for the gap. Although that might affect the u-lock holster

Not for big thighs and small waists

Weird fit. I have athletic thighs and a small waist and these shorts fit very weirdly. I'm also on the shorter side, so the length is awkward. I wish these shorts fit because they have so many cool features!

    Solid shorts, well-made

The shorts are well built. The pocket flap is perfect, no more wallets and stuff falling out. Doesn't fit big phones, if you're curious. They are comfortable ans sized in a way that makes sense. Size for the hips, then thighs. No gap at the waist!
