We improved the original UrbExes to make them even more functional and comfortable to wear. Welding the padded EVA back panel into the frame of the bag keeps the bag waterproof and the wearer comfortable - the added quick-access pockets keep essentials close and out of the weather. • Great for students that like motorcycles and dry books.

This backpack is awesome for college, plenty of room for a laptop and books without being huge and bulky. I also wear it when I ride my motorcycle to School, I live in the PNW so I like that all my stuff stays dry when its raining. The bag has a classic look thats simple and functional.

    Best everyday bag

The best bag I've owned. It has been snowing almost every day since I've switched to the Urban for my everyday bag, but this bag keeps everything dry during my long walk into work. It also holds a lot. The pocket on the front is great for keys and my phone.

I live in the sticks and I bought this sweet pack.

First off, I'm mostly new to the backpack game and I don't have the typical city commuter needs that most Chrome users have. I bought this pack for weekend purposes and as an accessory to my hardshell carryon to keep the necessary stuff handy (books, gadgets, games, books, change or two of clothes). The pack itself is fairly firm and sturdy, and the rectangular shape takes well to making the most of 18L. I can fit 2 individually rolled changes of clothing, swimming trunks, small dopp kit, gadget case, several books in the laptop sleeve, and still probably have enough room for a several snacks or a camera. I think as a weekend pack/daypack it's perfectly suited for its intended use, but I need less of a bag to accompany a carry on well and more of a bag to go without a carry on for longer trips, unless I'm really good at minimalist packing (I'm not). The internal organizer consists of a phone sized pouch, two pen pockets and a D ring on a fabric loop. This is integrated into the laptop sleeve. Behind that is velcro for a larger pocket the size of the whole back. This pocket contains a "stiffener" that could be removed and replaced with one or two full sized notebooks. On the front of the pack, the quick access pocket is about 6" deep and, yes, can be accessed from inside or out. The straps and back panel seem to be comfortable, but I only have initial impressions and no experience. My only real gripe is that since the fabric is so rubbery and stiff, running the zippers isn't as quick as most, but that's just the drawback to being both waterproof and tough as nails.

    Love this pack

It stands to attention and doesn't slouch or fall over like other similar packs. I can fit my lunch, change of shoes and clothes, my MacBook Air, and some small utilities with room to spare. The straps on the outside are great for hanging my lights, and lock and sunglasses

    Good looking durable bag.

Great simple waterproof backpack. Zippers are a bit hard to open at times but other than that it's a good looking durable bag.
