I have an 8.15 mile commute to work and wear this shoe every workday. This shoe is stylish, stiff where it matters and flexible in the right places while walking. The cleat will contact some gravel on the sidewalk, but walk quietly on a hard surface such as wood or tile floor.

The only issue I came across was the screw stripping out leading to a standstill 1 person crash at an intersection. I have been riding SPD systems for years and have never had a screw strip so this must have been an anomaly.

I have recommended this shoe to multiple people, mostly hardcore road/tri biker guys and they insist on sticking to their traditional road shoes. This shoe is great for long road rides as well as commuting. This is not a great shoe if you prefer the traditional road shoe ice skating walking style while walking on slick surfaces.

When I recieved my shoes was from a friend that travel to NY and bought me directly from the Black Friday.

At the beginning I get some little bloody injuries because of the hard "construction", but with a little suffered months pedaling with them... They are perfect fitted to me.

But I bought it because you say that is perfect to walk with the SPD things, but it isn't. The SPD touch the floor and make you slip and is quiet dangerous for the city pavement.

Anyway, I'm using this shoes EVERYDAY.

I have few chrome things and I'm happy with them.

The only thing I hope is that I'm thinking to buy another shoes and I would like that the SPD floor contact would be solve.

    Sorry for my horrible English.

    Regards from Spain dudes!!!

    Nice commuter shoes

Comments about Chrome Truk Pro Bike Shoe:

Great looking cycling shoes that can be walked in. The cleats do touch the ground depending on how you walk. If your steps are the typical heel-ball-toes contact walking method, the floor can scrape your cleats. You should walk with more weight supported by your outer sides of your feet, that helps saving the cleats. On the bike it does its job well, just as it should. The commonly mentioned heel cup slipping off does happen, but not to a degree where it bothered me.

Comments about Truk Pro Bike Shoe:

As my first pair for my first time going clipless, these are better than expected. Reviews mentioned quick wear but these feel durable and well made to me. A little stiff at first, the tongue kept pushing on the front of my shin, but this should be expected with new shoes sometimes.

        Good but...

Comments about Chrome Truk Pro Bike Shoe:

Those shoes are really good, it's a bit hard at the beggining and after it's really glad to ride with it.
I used them during more than one year in every weather. And the bad point come here, ok they are good but the cordura is good during few weeks and then your feet are really flooded and the parts of the shoes start to take off. And finally, after one year, they are completely detached...

So I was really disapointed about that and for the price, one year is not so good... I have to go to a shoemaker now to paste them again.
