A Friendlier Fit

When you're rocking a backpack, comfort is key. We set out to create a backpack harness that could accommodate the widest range of body-types and sizes while still providing some of the stability and lode-bearing assistance of our messenger-friendly yoke straps. After months of research we developed our most flexible backpack harness fit, complete with foam EVA back panel for comfort and breathability. When you're rocking a backpack, comfort is key. Comments about Soma Backpack:

I love the overall style, color, and form. However, there is 1 major flaw. Due to lack of drawstring/snap buttons, the sides pooch out and expose the inside to the elements. I live in rainy Seattle and I don't much appreciate water funneling down into my pack full of laptop goodies. I wouldn't recommend this pack to anyone in a rainy setting. Don't get me wrong, I love Chrome and will continue to own their gear.

      Comments about Soma Backpack:

This backpack will last a lifetime, and only get better with wear. One thing I didn't realize through the description and photos are the number of pockets inside and out. Two bottle holders on the side, two zipper pockets under the flap, and even more organizational pockets inside the main compartment.

      Comments about Soma Backpack:

Super roomy lightweight bag with laptop sleeve, compartments for books, pens, phone, etc. Exterior zippered compartments for items you want to keep more secure. Can also fit a Nalgene in side slots.

        Comments about Soma Backpack:

I bought this backpack as a gift to myself and it has single-handedly taken over my whole backpack collection. There is really no frills about it; it is simple, durable, and beautiful.

I was also pretty stoked to see this on High Maintenance Season 2, Episode 2!

        Long live the SOMA backpack!
