  • Commuter's Rejoice!

I love this bag!! I'll get into why four stars but overall: It's a great commuter bag. I like the ability to switch from backpack to tote. I got this as a commuter bag for the days when I didn't want to lug my chrome cargo bag on my city's trains which are stressfully packed in the mornings. All the pockets make me really happy, and it's decently sized so I can fit my gym clothes, lunch, coffee container, planner and other random stuff I deem necessary in my life to and from work. Oh, and the front pocket fits a to-go coffee mug! My ONLY critques: The backpack straps slide and get long while wearing (I read other reviews saying this happened but hoped it wasn't true, not the worst just kinda unfortunate), I wish the tote straps were a tiny bit longer (when the bag is packed, the straps are hard to wear as a tote), I wish they didn't make the opening so slim (the bag itself can fit a lot but the opening is sewed to be small making it hard to really utilize the full bag), and I wish there was a small strap or something to tuck the tote straps when it's a backpack (I used to have a Kanken and I liked that if I needed to I could button the straps together and have the top hold my jacket rolled). Overall: I bike to work, moped to work, walk, go on trains, busses, and all the stuff they did in that promotional video (which is what I got me smh). This bag is really sick, and I hope they continue to offer it and improve it. As a practical gal living in a city wanting a nice, functional bag to take to work that looks nice but fits my essentials for when the big one hits California. I am pleased. I'm sorry this is so long. I'm bored at work. Get the bag.

Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. I use this as a backpack for work, school, and play. It fits my SurfacePro, light binder, large headphones, all my pens, my bulky misc lady items, and daily trinkets. The best part of this bag is the versatility. Going from tote to backpack assures me that I always have a grip on my bag no matter what I am getting onto or off of. The shoulder straps are 100% more comfortable for me (as a female) than the traditional,, thicker straps on other backpacks because they don't add bulk. I bought this specifically because of that. The profile is low and allows me to ride, trail, hike across campus comfortably. The inside pockets hold lots of gear. I totally regret not buying 2 of these when I had the chance. I wasn't sure about the khaki color at first, but I have been able to wipe off grease or dirt smudges without a problem. Oh and yes. I get asked where I got my bag from newbies as well as get props from old skool chrome heads when I walk by. BUY IT.

    I'm Not Surprised

After a month of using this bag I'm not surprised that I love it. I use this bag to carry my daily necessities to work and to transport smaller supplies to the studio. The versatility of being able to switch from handles to the backpack straps is extremely convenient. The only downside about this bag is that it doesn't expand as much as you would expect it to. I think that the size of the opening on the top and the zipper are what cause this issue. Attempting to carry a large laptop (15" MBP) and tablet, plus a load of books didn't happen as successfully as I had hoped for but I suppose that's what one of my other Chrome bags is for.

    A versatile bag

A versatile tote bag that you can use it as a backpack as well.
