Kursk Sneaker

$85.00

The Kursk is our original urban bike sneaker and part of our Pedal Series. We wanted a classic sneaker that wouldn't get destroyed mashing through the city. The Kursk features a military grade nylon upper that is 25 times stronger than canvas, our proprietary PowerPlate™ nylon-reinforced sole, a comfortable contoured PU insole and reflective details.

  • Classic look - ride tested - Kursk for the WIN
  • Low-profile fit and feel
  • Lace garage to keep laces out of your chain ring
  • Military grade nylon upper
  • Walkable bike shoe you can wear anywhere
  • Tough Kicks

Tug on the Kursk, tuck the laces into the lace garage to keep them out of your drivetrain, and hit the road. The Chrome Kursk Shoe is a tough, cycling-specific shoe that moonlights as a simple pair of casual kicks. Thanks to features like stainless aglets (or lace end-caps for non word-nerds), the aforementioned lace garage, and a board-lasted sole, the Kursk will keep your feet protected and your bike rolling fast.

    • Fiberglass-reinforced nylon shank increases pedaling efficiency
    • Rubber toe and heel for maximum durability

  • Bomb proof.

This is my third pair of Kursk. They are basically bomb proof. Last pair held on for 8 years. These will probably out live me.

Fantastic biking shoe, terrible walking shoe

    2

I picked up a pair of these in hopes of them becoming my daily driver. They feel so great to bike in (the lace garage is such a nice feature) and they are *tough*. The downside is .. they are *tough*. So tough and stiff that walking in them eventually led to hot spots, and a blister (after two miles of regular paced walking). I've been wearing them for two weeks+ and hoped that they would break-in by now. I have tried thicker socks and played around with tightness - to no avail. The worst part is "comfort" is not covered by warranty 🤷 really wanted these to be great, but they aren't cutting it.

    Old School Style

The material is heavy and think, old school converse style. Love these!

    Solid pair of biking shoes

Pretty happy with these so far. They took a little bit longer than normal to break in but they're starting to get more comfortable now (~20 days later). I really like that they have the little reflective patch on the heel. Definitely better than my converse. One thing to note is that they run a size bigger. I'm normally a size 8.5 but I had to exchange for a 7.5. Originally purchased online and swapped out in-store which was painless.
