I really like the shoe. Still riding my first pair as a very frequent commuter and they have lasted going on 3 years...snow, rain, heat, etc. Frayed around the edges and the heel cups have worn thru inside exposing plastic-like stiffeners. But a swatch of duct tape fits nicely inside the heel cup and lasts about 4-5 months. Long walks off the bike are not recommended, but running in and out of stops and hanging out on rest stops on long rides is easy. Why not replace them, you ask? Because Chrome no longer makes my 14 size. I have a new pair in the box, but can't bring myself to start using until the current one's fail miserably. Thinking about calling and asking if there is another pair of 14's hidden in the warehouse that need to go :) Good shoe for rec, commuting, and organized fun rides...even done a couple Tri's with them cause they are easy on with elastic laces.

Pros- these are sweet for shoes when you need to go somewhere but don't wanna be in bike shoes. Also seem to be great for wet weather.

Cons- I can't find a size (tried 9.5, 10 and settled at 9.0) that has the heel fit correctly and doesn't feel too narrow. This I can live with but the real deal breaker for me is the cleat placement range. In SPD shoes I have the cleat all the way towards my heel, in this shoe you can't get it far enough back. This means that anything over a mile or two I just go to my normal bike shoes.

Comments about Chrome Kursk Pro 2.0 Bike Shoe:

Got these as a replacement for the Truk Pro's and glad I chose to switch to the Kursk. More comfy and stiff for better efficiency on the pedals and not too bad walking around either. Good pair of weekday shoes for commuting being I got some road shoes as well these make a good 2nd option..

Comments about Chrome Kursk Pro 2.0 Bike Shoe:

Smart looking shoes with acceptable heel retention. However, the cleats are only recessed flush with the sole, such that when you bend your foot at the ball the cleat is exposed. Consequently, the shoe slips all over slick surfaces like tile. So, I can't wear them to work, I can' wear them to the grocery store, and I can't wear them at home.

The only issue I have and this a personal issues that my feet are wide so the shoes fit a bit tight when new. wish you guys had a Wide option.
