This bag is so well made. You can't go wrong with this bag. It screams quality. The only downside is that it lacks compartments. I would never carry a laptop without a sleeve. Actually don't carry anything without any off of padding. I mean stuff that could get scratched. Perfect fashionable bag for commutes.

    Excellent Bag!!

The quality of the bag is unprecedented. The functionality is also exceptional. I own a 13 inch Dell XPS and it fits perfectly. Very light and love the buckle mechanism in the front.

    The perfect day pack

So this is my third chrome bag, but not because I had to replace any of them. My first bag was a classic chrome citizen which was my work horse until it was stolen from me. Then I got the barrage, which is a fantastic roll top bag. The only problem is it was still a little too big for the daily use. Enter the kadet. First off, I love the strap. I don't care how useful or useless it is, I love the chrome seat belt strap and the padding is perfect on my shoulder. The main compartment is nice and roomie for a bag of this side. It holds a good amount of stuff and even has a little side pocket for your pens and whatnot, which is a nice addition because that's usually everyone main gripe with the chrome bags lacking interior pockets or dividers. I like how the zipper is designed so the entire thing opens up like a clam almost, making it easy to grab whatever even when you're on the bike. There's also a smaller zippered compartment on the front perfect for smaller stuff like sunglasses or a power cord. If you're really thoughtful in how you pack it this guy can hold so much. Chrome even says it can fit a six pack of beer! AND AS FOR THE BAD The main problem with this bag is also what is great with it; the zippers. While almost every chrome bag I have bought has nice beefy YKK zippers, this one has little string ties instead? Maybe they thought it was too bulky but I want metal pull tabs on my zippers, especially since the actual zipper is so nice. Every chrome bag I have bought has had the floating liner, but not this one. I guess to save weight and reduce bulkiness, lbut I don't know how well it handles the rain. Why not do a little flap to go over the zippered compartment, like it's big brother bags. That zipper looks pretty tough but an extra piece of fabric would protect your stuff. Lastly, where's all the color options? Used to be you could get all kinds of colorways and limited edition patterns. I would kill for another digicamo citizen or more color options.

I feel the need of a small handle on top of this bag.

Great bag but needs a few minor tweeks

I have a Chrome Mini Metro messenger bag and love it but wanted something a little less bulky for day trips and commuting. This is a great bag for that purpose and, as with every Chrome bag, it is bullet proof and this thing will outlive me. Plenty of room inside Only area that I think there is room for improvement on is the strap. The way the bag hangs on me, the buckle is high towards the shoulder and they should have made the end of the strap 1" longer. The problem with the strap length is that it has a tendency to "roll" a little at the end because it is so short and it digs into my shoulder making it a little uncomfortable. The way they deal with the excess adjustment webbing is also a bit weird. The loop they have on the end has a tendency to slide up the webbing creating this loop of excess strap sticking away from your chest. Some velcro to hold it in place solves this once you get the setting you want.
