I bought this bag for a trip to Spain, and it was terrific. It was a little larger than was I expected, but it worked out super well. I was able to fit my sizeable portable batter, passport, cables, go pro with accessories, and even had a t-shirt in there. The build is solid as you expect it to be from Chrome.

Great storage volume, but difficult to access

I wanted this to be my only bag for my bike but unfortunately it did not end up being good enough. The good: The size and dimensions were good enough to fit my bike pump, and iphone in the mesh pocket. The mesh pocket itself was a great addition in order to store things I didn't want moving around too much. I liked that there was space to tuck in the hip bag straps behind the bag but I was expecting them to be removable like the bottom head tube strap. The bad: This might be personal but I was expecting this style of handlebar bag to sit low enough so that I could have ample space for my gps unit but it's awkwardly JUST not low enough so that my gps unit had to be angled up sharper than I wanted in order to fit. I was also not thrilled about how difficult with how resistant the zipper was, especially around the initial corner. I was unable to unzip it safely while riding which was a deal breaker. Another thing was the bag didn't really retain its shape as I expected in the main picture but in hindsight I do see some other photos that show its more compressed shape.

    Bike fanny pack

I rocked a fanny pack in the late 80s - they were useful. Then they fell out of vogue. Whatevs. Now I have this one but is does double duty as a bike bag hanging off the handlebar. I keep my phone, wallet and keys along with a patch kit and some tasty scooby snacks for the ride. I can detach it from the bike and take all my stuff with me.

    great versatile bike/body bag

Perfect mix between a bar bag and crossbody/hip pack that works for travel. Not the best bar bag for always on the bike, but if you want something that does both, this is your huckleberry.
