A Bag Built for the City

Over the last five years, the Bravo has become a fan-favorite commuter pack. With the Echo Bravo we took the core concepts of the Bravo and slimmed them down for a lighter, more compact version of our super versatile back-pack. Keeping the two-pocket design and cross strap attachment system, the Echo Bravo streamlines the original Bravo design, reimagining it as a daypack that's as light as it is tough.

An Echo of the Bravo

We took our fan-favorite Bravo commuter pack and tweaked it for those who travel differently. Slightly smaller in size, the Echo Bravo still features the classic Bravo front access pocket and swaps the heavy-duty rolltop for a waterproof PU-coated zipper. • Perfect for me

This backpack is perfect for my daily use. I carry my lunch bag and a small bag with a mirrorless camera along with an umbrella and a few everyday carry items. Love its size and the way it holds its form. The backpack has not been subjected to any rain yet so I can't comment on that. However it looks like it can hold the rain.

Great bag, but very narrow (back to front)

Excellent fit and very tough feeling. I would make one suggestion to the Chrome folks: Add 1-2 inches in depth to the bag and it would be perfect. Its very narrow. I like the compactness but getting lunch inside the bag can be difficult, things need to go in on their side. I don't think adding two inches of width would make the bag less aero on the back while pedaling, but would add a big more functionality.

Comfortable, stylish, and functional compact pack

I had previously owned a Chrome messenger bag that I was quite happy with, so when I was in the market for a new backpack for my computer, I checked out their offerings. I like this bag because it is compact while remaining capable, and especially how the laptop sleeve is designed (raised off the floor of the pack so if it's set down in the ground, doesn't smash the computer). Rear panel is comfortable while riding my bike, and the straps appear sturdy. I wish the elastic strap retainers held the "extra" bit of strap a little more securely, so they didn't pull out as easily, but when I'm wearing it (say, the sternum strap) the tension keeps it tight, so it's really just a nitpicky complaint. Altogether I'm very happy with the bag, have received a number of compliments on it and I have faith that were any problem to arise in the future, Chrome would address it. Just be certain that this is the size you need because it is quite compact, so look at the larger version if you want to fit more than, say, computer + accessories, a few books, light jacket, and some smaller items in the front.

    Will buy it again!

Hey guys - would love to write a review for this but unfortunately it was stolen off my brother's front door step. It looked sweet though so I'll still give it 5 stars. It was meant to be a Christmas gift for him so I may try again for his bday.
