  • Versatile travel pack with compression flap
  • Ergonomic shoulder strap w/ foam back panel
  • Weatherproof tarp liner with durable nylon shell

  • A Bag Built for the City

When we first started working with the legendary John Cardiel to develop this bag to keep all the gear he needed for a week on the road organized and within reach, we didn't know we had a fan favorite on our hands. Now slightly redesigned for a better strap fit, increased comfort on the back panel and an upgraded sternum strap, the Fortnight still hauls tons of gear, has plenty of pockets for organization and an extra flap for large or unwieldy cargo. Just like Cards, this bag goes hard.

    • Large zip-around opening for easy access to cargo
    • Compression flap with commercial-grade straps accommodates a range of loads
    • Zippered external flap pocket for travel documents
    • Integrated hip pouch pocket for stowing small utility pouches
    • Industrial metal cam lock under arm compression buckles
    • Reinforced internal mesh pockets with hook and loop closures and integrated key loop
    • Industrial-strength hook and loop accessory shoulder mounting straps
  • Size 20.5" H, 13" W, 7" D Volume 33L Weight 3.8 LBS Laptop Size 15"
  • Pretty dope

Great backpack with a lot of space. The chest buckle is super cool. I wish that it had a water bottle pocket, which would be super easy to add to this pack. But the overall design is awesome and has a lot of great storage pockets. The pockets are a little difficult to open because of the velcro that is used, but it is nice to know that it is quality material that is used and won't fall apart anytime soon.

An outstanding backpack at a fair price.

This backpack will be use in an upcoming trip to Alaska to carry clothing and other items on a rail and bus trip to Denali Park.

    Quality you can rely on

Excellent craftsmanship. This backpack is on the larger side, but pretty indestructible.

    Excellent backpack

A extremely well made and medium size backpack. We bought two new backpacks to supplement a larger backpack also made by Chrome. Plan to use these on a train and bus tours later this summer in Alaska.

    Absolutely life-proof

I've had this backpack now for eight years. I use it almost every day. It goes to class with me, to work with me, on trips with me. It's been to europe, camping in the Appalachian mountains, couch surfing in nyc while I try to find somewhere to live for an internship. Today a bottle of pop burst in it and its water resistant laptop sleeve saved my $1700 laptop. I can take it as a carry on on an airplane and it's big enough to fit my sleeping bag plus enough clothes and supplies for a weekend trip. It doesn't strain my back when I have several textbooks and a laptop in it. It's protected my stuff from downpours and from being set down in a puddle. I'm a short girl and it's not too long for my torso, and when the chest strap is on I have no problems running with it. I will say I never use the outside pocket. It's too hard to get in and out of. Also as someone who owns a lot of black items, it can be hard to dig out a pen or notebook in the black interior. I also wish the zipper pulls were sturdier so I could put a travel lock on them (a thief could just cut the nylon). All in all, if this backpack ever dies, I'll just be buying another of the same to replace it
