A Bag Built for the City

When we first started working with the legendary John Cardiel to develop this bag to keep all the gear he needed for a week on the road organized and within reach, we didn't know we had a fan favorite on our hands. Now slightly redesigned for a better strap fit, increased comfort on the back panel and an upgraded sternum strap, the Fortnight still hauls tons of gear, has plenty of pockets for organization and an extra flap for large or unwieldy cargo. Just like Cards, this bag goes hard.

The picture do no justice to the amount of space this backpack has.

Very simple but very well made. I'm a bigger guy and this bag looks and fits fine. Zero complaints.

Attractive bag, but lacking key features (see "cons")

I was excited to be able to visit a chrome store and see this bag in-person because of how great it looked online. The idea of covering organizer pockets with a flap creates a really sleek and smart look. I also love zip top bags, so I appreciate the look and function of this quite a bit. Sadly, it lacked some key features for myself personally that made me need to pass on it. Specifically: the velcro on the interior pocket was extremely loud, which would irritate my coworkers and myself every time I used it, and the bag did not have a side water bottle holder. The "cons" above were also negatives in my mind, but those two are key. I don't know why Chrome decided to use velcro and not have 1-2 side water bottle pockets. I asked if the Company does customizations to add features like this in their store, but sadly they do not. That said, this is still a really good looking bag (even in person), but without those simple features it was sadly not for me.

    Great capacity

The Cardiel Fortnight 2.0 Backpack is quite large, it allows me to carry out everything that I need through the day, the advantage of its different compartments is that it can be accessed more easily to small items that are eventually needed.
