    Front pocket is NOT weatherproof

Although the main compartment is fairly water-resistant, the front compartment--where the laptop sleeve is--did not survive a two-hour rainy trek in NYC recently, turning the front compartment into the worst pool party ever and leaving me with a $1100+ repair bill from Apple. If you count on your laptop to make your income, expect to lose a couple of weeks of work if you get caught in the rain with this bag.

    What I've come to expect.

Super functional and tough. I've had a few Chrome bags and this is my favorite. It holds a lot of stuff and still keeps a slim profile.

Cool for a college kid, not much else

Cool looking bag. Would be good if I was a college student. Its big. But hard to carry anything like groceries in. Will probably sell it.

    Workhorse Built Like A Tank

My daily bag for over four years, this thing is a beast! The design is nearly perfect, making it the best bag I've ever owned. I use as a large commuter bag when biking or on the NYC subway, and sometimes as a weekend or travel bag. After a warranty issue on my 3-yr old old Bravo 1.0, I was upgraded to the 2.0 (for free, thanks Chome!), and never looked back. This model introduced the much-needed water bottle pocket, and added a second sleeve in the front/laptop pocket, presumably for tablets but which I personally use for my magazine or books. The 2.0 did away with the soft expandable lining of the 1.0 (which made the original ungodly tall but was a godsend when you bought too many groceries to stuff in the main compartment) but I don't miss it as I feared I would. My office is semi-formal, and the bag not only looks professional enough for work and client meetings, but also garners a lot of compliments. When hauling my laptop and work gear, or running errands after work, the expandable size and tough lining means I can toss anything in there - a six pack, tools, tall objects like drawing sets - it is a slim bag that becomes a big hauler when needed. Four years in, it's finally starting to show a little wear. The Velcro isn't quite as strongly held, and the back fabric panel is starting to tear at the bottom. But given the beating it takes - living the subway floor and being tossed around construction sites - the durability is unbelievable. Not to mention Chrome does repairs, and often for free. I recently purchased a Bravo Echo as I've started to bike commute less, and was looking for a smaller size for the train rides, but the Bravo 2.0 still stands as my all-time favorite bag. Brilliant design and aesthetics, as we've come to expect from Chrome.
