  • Perfect understated MTB pant

I bought these pants specifically for mountain biking in cooler temps, as an alternative to the over-branded motocross inspired alternative. In short, super stoked. The understated look makes a seamless transition into après possible without changing clothes. I was truly impressed by the comfort on the bike. My first ride in these was The Whole Enchilada in Moab -- 30 degrees at 11,000 ft and 75 degrees at 3,000 ft -- I was pumped on how comfortable these were at each end of the ride. To my surprise, I didn't feel like I was overheating in these when the temps went up.

    A But Baggy

Super stretchy and lightweight. I purchased these and the DKLEIN 5 Pocket pants to ride in wet weather. I like the 5 pocket way more. Compared got the 5 pocket, these are looser and have a lower crotch. Fine to ride in but don't recommend for the office or generally trying to look put together. Also, the right pant leg was getting caught in my chain and got some grease on it. I need to wear a strap to keep from getting tangled. Fabric is very nice though. Nice and lightweight. Ride in the rain for 20 minutes and was kept relatively dry.

    Great pant for urban cycling

I am 5'9, 175 lbs and typically wear a 33 waist pant. I purchased the 32 after trying on both the 32 and 34. These pants have a modern slim fit and the fabric has a nice stretch. Very comfortable pedaling a bike. In my experience, the fabric will stretch a little after the first few wears. Nothing major. When I first bought the pants they felt just a hair snug throughout the garment. After wearing for a few hours, the fabric eased up and now the fit is truly excellent. If you're in between sizes, size down unless you want a looser fit. I have used the pants in a variety of conditions while cycling around the city. The pants breath extremely well, have held off misting precipitation, and allow for full range of motion on the bike. Keep in mind that the Brannan pants only come in one length. If you're not pretty tall, you will probably need to get them hemmed,

I own two pairs of Folsom Shorts and the one thing I absolutely love about them is their power to dry in no more than 5 minutes no matter the amount of rain. My father brought me this pants from his recent trip to NYC, and I must say that although they might seem crafted with the same fabric as the already mentioned shorts, the drying properties are not the same, at all. I commuted to work the other day under no more than 20 mins of light rain and after 2 hours they were still soaking wet.

These are great pants for physical activity or casual wear

I really appreciate the longer inseam and plan to buy another pair.
