Form Meets Function

Built with water-resistant, 4-way-stretch Everest fabric, a gusseted, reinforced crotch and lowkey articulation points at the knees the Brannan is designed with technical elements for riding hard, but won’t look out of place at the office or the bar. Extra ventilation in the crotch for comfort, reflective accents to help keep you lit and a zip front pocket for your important stuff - the Brannan is the ultimate city riding pant.

Built for the Ride

For years, we've been making the most kick-ass city cycling shorts around. We applied the same logic to the Brannan. Four-way stretch, water resistant and quick dry fabric, a reinforced, ventilated gusset for toughness and temperature regulation, integrated reflective hits and articulated knees to get the most bang from each pedal stroke. • Long in the legs and baggier than I thought

I bought these expecting them to be some light / fashionable bike pants. People talked about them being stretchy so I assumed they'd be a little on the slimmer side. I'm not a short person and I just find these are long and also very loose around the ankles/calves. They don't cuff very tight, no matter which type you try. I don't feel comfortable that they won't get caught in my drive train without additional help. For what they cost I'm certainly not taking the risk. Being very loose they are easily very comfortable and they do look very nice with a loose simple cuff, but far too baggy/long for tighter cuffs. The air vents are certainly nice and breezy when you're riding.

Good for but not the material I thought it was

I got what I thought are Brennan pants last year, but they're more of a Dickies material. These are more stretchy, which I'm not in love with. I absolutely love the pants I got last year, but I don't remember what they're called and the tags are worn off. Bottom line, these are great pants, but a little too stretchy for my style.

Brannan Pant was so good picked up a 2nd pair

    4

Versatility of the Brannan Pant is what influenced me in buying a 2nd pair. The Brannan pant looks good in the office, but attractively casual when out for a brew or bite, and more important you don't have to change clothes when biking to & from work. They are a little pricey, but the fit is not clunky like some of the other "commuter wear" retailers, and is comfortable on the bike. I had black Brannan pant last season, and liked them so much I picked up a grey pair this season expanding what I can wear with them. Maybe Chrome will consider Tan Brannan in their future offering?
