The bag is bigger when it's filled and might be a bit taller for some folks. Especially for my height being 5'2 and the bag is still comfortable to wear even the adjustable straps. The material on the bag is different than the older bags which were more stiff and durable in my opinion. I think this material might tear apart easily with a lot of use. The size on this bag is nice if you are carrying a bigger volume with your commute. I do like some of the features on this bag like the two external pockets on each side as well as a larger capacity on the cargo net. The inside of the bag is fully tarped with one laptop sleeve. The two water bottle holders are a nice size and even carry up to 4 16oz water bottles, two on each side. I wish these bags were repairable and customizable with Chrome and included in their lifetime warranty. Another wish would be more variety features and styles for these larger capacity bags especially sturdier materials.
