    Great bag... Kinda?

This is the first Chrome product I have not been ecstatically happy with. My family has Citizens, Metros, Burran-3's, Kadets, bar bags, frame bags, etc. and all of them are absolutely exceptional. This one, however just seems to fall short. It is very well constructed, and the cargo net system is awesome. But overall storage area is not great. Interior compartment is a little small, although the height is great and adds a lot of space. You lose a bit to the roll-top, and a bit more to the side pocket, which is a great size, but bumps into the interior if you have anything appreciable in it. Also the water-bottle pockets on the side are not stretchy or gusseted, so if there is anything in the bag you can't fit anything in them at all. Lastly, the straps could extend a little more. I'm a larger person, and I can not wear this bag comfortably with a coat on.

    Nearly perfect!

This backpack is fantastic, especially for riding. I don't know the specifics, but the way the straps meet the backplate means there's a lot less tension on your shoulders. The reflective buckle strip is friggin genius, and the expandable cargo net is super useful. The only thing that keeps this bag from getting 5 big stars is the side pocket; why oh why does it sit horizontally (and on that side)?! If it was vertically oriented this bag would be perfect, but even as is it's a tremendously good backpack. Thanks Chrome!

It’s awesome, but needed 2 things to work better for me

I like the the rugged build and versatile cargo net, but ultimately had to return it because I needed internal organization. At least two pockets would be super helpful. I also would really like the internal laptop pocket to have padding. Sometimes I carry hard objects in my bag and don’t want them to damage my laptop. And it would be even better if the external zip pocketwas slightly larger
