The Spot Check Kilo: PDX

#ChromeSpotCheck Kilo Contest: Portland

From donut shops to dive bars, skate spots to record stores, our favorite cities are full of spots that make them unique. To share some of our favorite spots (and stuff) from our favorite places, we started the #ChromeSpotCheck contest where we’ll be giving out a Treadwell Kilo packed full of rad stuff from the cities that inspire us.

But sharing is a two-way street. To win one of these bad boys, all you have to do is get a dope pic of your favorite spot in your city, post it to IG with a little description of why it’s rad and the hashtag #chromespotcheck, follow us and you’re entered to win. On the last Friday of each month we’ll pick the best spot and award the packed out Kilo to the winner! Easy!

To kick things off we’re starting close to home base. Micheal, our Portland Hub manager, picked some killer stuff to pack out the first Kilo:

Jacobsen Salt
Harvested from the cold, pristine waters of Netarts Bay on the Oregon Coast, hand-graded and packaged in Portland.

Pendleton Coin Pouch
Sewed by Chrome PDX’s custom sewer, Tyda, from legendary Portland textile manufacturer Pendleton wool.

Elevator Coffee – Guatemalan El Trifuno
Elevator only works with beans that have been harvested and processed within the last 6 months & roasts them weekly. Super Fresh!

An Authentic Vial of Real Portland Rain Water
Vegan, gluten free, ethically harvested rain water – we’ve got enough to go around!

Chris King Hubset Salt & Pepper Shakers
Hubsets repurposed as salt & pepper shakers made in Portland by world renowned handmade bike manufacturer Chris King.

So what are you waiting for? Get out there and show us your favorite spots.
