CHROME SEATTLE HUB: SLAYER CAT 2016
As Slayer was setting up at the Paramount theater, SlayerCat racers duked it out for a pair of tickets to the show and a custom Chrome Coveted Jersey. After a LeMans alleyway start, 20 riders traced out a 17-mile long pentagram over the Seattle-core, fighting over 3000 feet of hills. The fastest completed the course in 64 minutes trailing out over 2 hours.
The afterparty started before the podium with a tall-boy shotgunning contest which quickly became some street dice. At the podium we awarded the Grand Prize tickets and jersey, then awarded 2nd place a Leader frameset and gave out Conduit Coffee, PBR swag, and Stanley flasks to other racers. We had just enough libations to keep it going until 9pm. ~ Words By: Joshua Skinner
