best for dashing between raindrops
teflon coated - high tech indeed! this jacket sheds water like your best frying pan, and breaks wind well. it is water repellent as advertised, but not water proof. when water is allowed to sit on the fabric awhile, it does seep through. the fit is incredible - tough, trim, and urban. i'm 5'0" / 110lb / 32b and the xs is perfect. i'm not a fan of activewear as streetwear, but this jacket does a decent crossover. super light and stashes small. cool unlisted feature: hidden eyelet in back pocket allows you to thread your earbuds up inside your jacket to avoid that dangly "hey, mug-me" look.

Not what I thought it would be.
I was very excited to finally receive this jacket in the mail today as I had been looking out for it since I placed my order! Upon trying it on though, I was somewhat disappointed. The fabric was very thin and the sleeve cuffs seem as if they have a rubber band sown into the ends as cuffs. The description also boasts a "convertible collar for cold rides" but this jacket on the whole is so thin I can't see how it would benefit you on a cold ride without layers – which was what I was trying to avoid with the purchase. I'm also very disappointed in the length. I am only 5'7" and the medium I ordered only comes to the top of my belt in front and bottom of it in back. There is no way I can wear this when riding my bike without it riding to the middle of my back. Unfortunately, I will be returning this. :(

I love it
I didn't think I'd like this jacket as much as I do, but I love it! It's cut really nice, and exactly what I was looking for in a windbreaker! I hope it lasts a while - may have to order another one! :)

back pocket leaks
I really like this jacket, but theres a major flaw. The back pocket opens upward and closes with one snap. This means that if it rains on you, the water will flow off of your back and into the pocket... and the probably into your pants. Glad I live in LA, otherwise this could be a serious problem.

Great jacket
Super light weight and packable. I wear this jacket for everything because it’s an awesome rain jacket without adding bulk.

One star for the color, one star for the fact that the material is soft. Otherwise, this is something that I could do without. For starters, when Chrome says "fit especially for women", it really just means "crack exposure", since it doesn't seem to taper in at the waist (boxy) and is cut pretty short. I second the comment that another reviewer made- it really is like rubber bands sewn into the cuffs. No way would I say that this jacket is worth 80 dollars, unless you just really really want something that says "Chrome".

great jacket
It looks like a regular jacket which I love. I hate looking all technical just to go ride! Some times I wear it as a jacket when not riding. I pretty much bought everything, several shoes, knickers, pants,t shirts, hat, oh , and of course a bag. Thank goodness Chrome realizes not everyone wants to look like Joe racer tech freak geek to go ride. Now I can get off my bike, go to a pub or whatever and look good, not like a lycra super hero lol. Perhaps they should wear capes to cover that junk no one wants to see ...

Cuffy Not So Tuffy
I was a bit of a sucker for the Chrome style, but yeah, after I wore this a time or two I noticed that the cuffs had no or poor quality elastic in them. I love the pants that I bought from Chrome but this coat was not a great choice on my part, and no, it's not worth 80.00. My bad.

stylish lightweight answer to mild urban elements
love simple cut of this jacket along with the branded red details. very lightweight; decent barrier to mild weather elements. would have liked to have seen more attention to the cuff and an addition of darts would have given the silhouette a more feminine fit.

Favorite womens apparel piece by far. I love this thing cause it keeps me protected against most Chicago season elements and can still layer and work in the cold. Also other fantastic thing about this piece is I can literally fold it up and fit it in my pocket! Perfect for the light traveler.

Great Windbreaker!
I have worn this at some point almost every day for the last week as the weather starts to turn colder, and I absolutely love it. I ordered a medium and have just enough room to put a sweatshirt underneath it--which is just what I was hoping for. I frequently shove it into my bag as I warm up riding, and it takes up no space at all.
The one "problem" I have is that the sleeves are slightly too long for me, but I have a feeling that is my genetics, and not the jacket.

Comfortable and Light
I really like this jacket. It's nice and cozy enough to wear during the Spring and Fall seasons (temperature being ~50). The back pocket is very convenient when I feel like leaving my bag at home. The arm length is perfect for my size (5'9"). The only reason I give this jacket 4 stars is for the torso length. I have a fairly long torso and this doesn't seem to be as long as I'd hoped for.
