SEA HUB Manager

Location: Seattle, WA

Chrome is looking for someone to become the Store Manager of our newest Seattle HUB. This new member will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class brand and customer experience, hitting sales goals, and creating an easy-to-shop environment. Key responsibilities will include driving sales through your hub and team, servicing customers on the sales floor, merchandising the space and keeping it clean, supporting inventory management, and an excellent understanding of a detailed POS system.

In addition, Chrome Seattle shop familia are involved in community outreach, local guerilla marketing, pre-release product testing and development, and throwing legendary parties at Chrome SEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the proper running and maintenance of the retail HUB
  • Responsibility for tracking and maintaining costs
  • Developing strategies to grow HUB sales
  • Recruits, hires, develops and retains personnel
  • Trains and motivates associates to achieve maximum sales productivity
  • High knowledge of Inventory procedures and best practices to keep all HUBS shrink at company goal
  • Manages store scheduling to ensure proper coverage based on business needs
  • Maintains payroll and store expenses within established budget
  • Communicates with Retail Operations Manager regarding all HUB development, growth, and issues
  • Ensures proper launch and promotional setup of store and maintenance of sales floor
  • Ensures compliance and adherence to policies and procedures, standards and practices and company directives
  • Ensures effective customer service and direct selling, that sales plans are achieved
  • Reports to Retail Operations Manager
  • Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • 4+ years retail store management experience
  • Creative and previous visual experience a plus (building in depth windows and fixtures)

  • Strong knowledge of retail processes and procedures

    Key Responsibilities:

    RETAIL INVENTORY PLANNER

    Chrome Industries is looking for a Retail Inventory Planner to join its crew in San Francisco, California. This is an opportunity for someone who loves the city, knows product, is analytical, and knows how to build merchandise plans. The Retail Inventory Planner works collaboratively with the Product Team to drive financial results including sales, inventory levels and profitability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Business Planning

  • Create pre-season Budget Plans
  • Develop new strategies, projected sales, inventory by SKU needs, and order flow set ups for launch timeframe
  • Own new/launch hindsight, sales projections and buys to support all merchandising and promo strategies
  • Open-To-Buy

  • Own accurate monthly in season OTB sales, gross margin %, receipt, and inventory adjustment projections
  • Reconcile OTB Sales and Receipt projections to Replenishment/Demand Planning system forecasts
  • Present and lead monthly cross-functional OTB meeting
  • Replenishment / Demand Planning

  • Manage forecasts, seasonal profiles, and order approval to achieve financial goals and objectives
  • Product Assortment Support

  • Validate product assortment by analysis and recommendations, items to discontinue, and items to develop
  • Analyze and validate sales and inventory news for key initiatives
  • Develop liquidation strategy on obsolete collections or overstock
  • Communication

  • Communicate weekly to team on actions taken on top volume out of stocks
  • Partner and drive allocation strategy that supports inventory merchandise strategy for newness and events/promos

  • Report updated business trends and stock continuity weekly
  • Conduct Newness hindsight and key initiatives analysis on a seasonal basis

  • Experience:

  • Deliver a best-in-class brand and buying experience
  • 3 – 5+ years of related retail inventory planning experience
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze and interpret general retail reports, and proven track record making decisions and recommendations that impact the business
  • Ability to create monthly reports, style-level sales plans, track promotional calendar/events and pre-meeting prep
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail inventory analytics
  • Experience in gross margin profitability planning
  • Follow through with all assignments and job duties in a timely manner
  • Strong computer skills including Excel and Word
  • Experience with retail planning spreadsheets and/or merchandise management tools
  • Detail orientation with regard to numerical information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Education:

  • BS/BA Business, Finance, Sales, or Merchandising is preferred
