The Bravo is one of the most versatile backpacks we make. We designed it to be a compact laptop backpack that can also make the weekly grocery run or carry a wheel set to the races. We placed the padded laptop sleeve on the outside of the bag so it's easily accessible. The welded-waterproof main compartment has a CORDURA® Brand fabric and rip-stop, nylon gusset that extends to secure larger loads. When not needed, it tucks out of the way inside the bag. Our cross-compression strap system can be used to secure a wheel set, helmet, and wet gear.

Bravo Review
The Bravo is my new favorite bag because it can do it all. On the daily I transport my 15" Macbook Pro, iPad, U-lock, Kryptonite cable, lights, spare tubes, wrench, multi-tool, pump, C02 canisters, tire levers, bandana, sweater, jacket, wallet, keys, smokes, and lunch. With all this I can still stop off at the grocery store, let out the compression straps and expand the top, fill it to the brim with groceries and ride home happy and comfortable. This bag also has a frame sheet in the back for added comfort when you have it filled all the way up. The compression straps work exceptionally well whether you are hauling wheels or an LP. I feel confident hauling my laptop in the padded sleeve this bag has. Best of all the bag looks Ninja.

This bag is the shiz.
I ordered this bag after moving to DC to use on a 22 mi round trip bike commute. It's replacing a smaller Chrome messenger bag.
When it first arrived I was a bit skeptical of the size - it doesn't look as big as it is. But then I started packing my commuting shit in it - combat boots, full military uniform, a couple of books, lunch, bike tools and a rain jacket. And it's only about half full. It just keeps swallowing stuff, but keeps a low profile so it's not a gigantic kite on my back. It hasn't rained since I've had it so I took it in the shower just to see what happens since I needed to make sure my uniform won't get wet on my way to work. As advertised, it's waterproof. As with my old Chrome bag, the craftsmanship/quality is incomparable. I don't carry a laptop, but the outer pocket is also perfect for a lock, tools, or couple of books.

Chrome know what they are doing
This bag is SOLID. Just got it today, and I cannnot believe how nice it is! I thought it looked nice from the pictures I saw on this site, but upon feeling it and putting it on, I finally understand why people love Chrome so much. All the materials are heavy duty, yet they feel luxurious and offer a simple yet stylish look. I LOVE the fact that it is waterproof, especially since I live here in Portland, OR (where it rains 9 months of the year). I cannot wait to use this bag once fall term starts.

Hooked for life
Got my Chrome Bravo last week, and it totally rocks. The design is super sturdy, comfortable, and roomy! I can now fit everything I need for class, work, and leisure all in the same pack and not have to worry about forgetting anything. I know Ill be purchasing from Chrome again. Im so glad I found this company, they outdo all the competition. I f you ride a bike and need to carry a lot of stuff, and want peace of mind in any kind of weather, buy Chrome. Last thought, my favorite part is that if I'm only carrying a light load, the bag shrinks up, and when I fill it to the brim it remains just as comfortable

William is wrong
Sooooo....this "little" bag fits slim and compact when empty but as you ad more stuff it just keeps opening up to eat more of my stuff. The volume test was proven when we deposited a 15" macbook, floor pump, jacket, and all my normal day-to-day shit oh yeh and a mini keg! I rode to 4 different places around town and pumped beer the whole time. This bag is what dreams are made of.

Killer pack
I use the Bravo pack when my Metro can't carry the odd cargo I have to ride with. Using the straps I've used the Bravo to carry wheels, frames, poster tubes, and even a snowboard and snowboard boots all without mishaps. The internal storage is not the biggest but more than enough for commutes and even for a short camping trip.

I love the black on black stealth look but a Night version would send it over the top.

Good job, Chrome.

Well built
I have a yalta, but wanted an upgrade, and more space, so when i stumbled across the bravo, it was a dream come true, the expandable area, even when full, is still comfortable to ride with, and when empty clings to you, the sternum, or, "compression" strap works great, and it is another waterproof product made by chrome, great job chrome, and thanks for the bag!

A mixed bag
After living out of my Metropolitan messenger bag for over 8 years, I finally decided to switch over to a backpack and give my one shoulder a break. I picked the Bravo because the specs said that it could expand to at least the same size as my current bag.
Well, the Bravo is definitely smaller than the Metropolitan, all the way down to the dimensions of the opening, which make stuffing some items, like my work laptop, a pain. Then the day came when I had to stuff a bunch of crap in there for a night at the old lady's place and a day of shooting. I stuffed over 200 rounds of ammo, a change of clothes, my electronic gadgets, tools, handguns, my sigg bottle and two hearing protectors. Needless to say, I had expanded it all the way to the top... and it didn't look stupid. I liked how the bag has a velcro closure at the end when it's expanded completely. Something I was unaware of from the specs or the pictures. Nice touch. The straps are totally comfortable: not too spaced out or too narrow. But the selling point is the back padding. With all that bulky crap in there, nothing was poking me in the back, unlike the messenger bag. Some day, Chrome should add this back padding feature to their messenger bags.
So far I haven't had a chance to use the straps on the bag to carry anything. This feature may need some more work down the road. Right now I only use them to clip on my reflector light for when I take the bicycle for a spin. There should be a spot somewhere on the bag to secure a light, if anyone at Chrome is listening.
Though I had my doubts at first, this bag totally fits the bill on carrying my daily load out of stuff.

Best Bag Ever
I recently went up north from LA with my grandpa during winter break. I remembered the chrome store in san fran and HAD to stop there. I picked this bag up after a long desicion and im happy with it! Its big enough to hold a shit load of stuff. I can fit a change of clothes (jeans and a hoodie), A helmet, Meatball marinara footlong, some riser handlebars, and black ops II. This is an amazing bag and im hoping the shoes im getting soon from chrome will be just as good. Its also really easy to clean. Im in ceramics and theres clay dust all over and i just take a moist towel and boom its gon and nothings wet. I love the waterproofness of the bag. I wa riding in the rain to school one day and I WAS SOAKED but my books and binders stay closed. I love using it at school because i dont have to go to my locker after every period. And everybody likes my bad ass "camping backpack" lol. Good job chrome expect an order soon!!!!

Great bag, I think, maybe...
Functionally, this bag is great. It's comfortable, riding high on the back with the load secured by the compression straps (which can also hold attachments and tighten well enough to secure larger, if lighter, items). It lets me basically carry my office around with me every day--15" Thinkpad and AC adapter, laptop lock, 7" tablet, large 3-ring binder, notebook, several pens/pencils, music player, headphones, assorted cables, assorted electronics tools, two or three textbooks, my glasses, sunglasses and an 18-ounce thermos of coffee, all without expanding the bag to full-size.

And it's a good thing I don't need to expand it, because sadly, it seems I got a defective bag. The velcro on a couple spots has started to give after only four months' use, there are loose threads popping up everywhere, and the flaps enclosing the roll-top and front flap curl away from the bag, even though it's only gotten rained on once. The "padding" in the padded laptop sleeve seems a little thin, although not enough to make me worry about it. And about 5 weeks after getting the bag in the mail, the velcro on the roll-top enclosure tore from the seams, making it impossible to close the bag when expanded; I only just recently was able to file a warranty claim, as I needed the bag in the meantime. I hope this isn't a pattern, as all-in-all the bag looks good, fits great and is able to carry even more than I usually need. No hard feelings, Chrome. ;)
