As soon as you pull it out of the packaging, you know you're gonna have this shirt around for a while. This thing is definately tough and has some good heft to it for a shirt. I'd almost call it a light jacket. It is raw denim, so I assume it will behave like it--shrinking and stretching, fading and bleeding--even with the dyenema. Either wear the heck out of it from day one and wash it 6 months later, or give it the initial soak and hang dry like I did. It's a nice deep shade of indigo, practical pockets, and snaps that seem secure but not so much that you couldn't "party boy" this thing off if you had to. I like the red bar tack contrast stitching on the left chest pocket. Could do without the leather patch, but it looks nice.

Fit: Pretty good for the most part, but unusualy long in the body while being pretty tight/fitted in the arms. I am 6'1'' 215, athletic/muscular build, broad shoulders and ordered an XL. Fits great in the chest, a little tight around the back, but that should stretch a bit over time, and sleeves are long to accomodate outstretched arms, as on a bike or reaching for a beer. It seems about 4 inches too long in the torso, even for a biking concious fit... the model in the pictures must feel like he's in a straight jacket, cuz it looks pretty tailored on him. The tail length goes as far to cover my yoohoo, which makes it look like I was shopping in the Tall and Skinny section. Not a deal breaker but it is noticeably long...if I had sized down I wouldn't be able to button this thing up, or move my arms I imagine! As another reviewer mentioned, the pleats on the sleeves do seem to be sewn in different places...but I measured them and they are even. It could be the unique way the fabric folds and creases when you bend your arms, it is super stiff and crunchy at first. I imagine it wont be as noticeable once broken in.

Either way, great shirt, and even greater to get on sale if you can! Four stars for style, material, color, and USA made!!!

    Awesome material but poorly constructed.
The pleats on the sleeves are sewn onto two different spots at the cuffs on each sleeve and when buttoning the top button of the shirt one end of the collar tucks under and into the other end of the collar.
Although customer service admitted to sending me a defective inferior shirt, the response from them took so long I decided to take the shirt to a tailor to have it fixed myself, which voids the warranty. Now I'm out the cost of the shirt plus expenses to get it fixed out of pocket.
Considering it's the most pricy shirt offered by Chrome, they could have done a much better job of quality control.
Chrome usually makes a quality product but definitely missed the mark on this shirt.
