These shoes are super durable and feel great on the bike. I had to get some new inserts for my high arch, but heel cushion is great! I will definitely continue buying chrome shoes.

      Comments about Truk Bike Shoe:

As a vegetarian I try to stay away from buying leather shoes. But your average canvas sneaker only lasts about six months before it disintegrates into a pile of tattered fabric and rubber scraps. So far, Chrome is the only shoe I have found that can stand up to daily use and still hold together. Provides great grip for city cycling as well.

I just purchased my second pair – the first one is three months old and still looks as good as new. Only drawback is a pretty extended breaking-in period – I was rocking blisters for a week or two before things got comfy.

Comments about Chrome Truk Bike Shoe:

This is my 3rd pair of Chrome shoes the first being the 415 work boot, the Peshka Quilted, and now the Truk Bike Shoe. I ride my bike to school everyday, and walk a lot, and these are perfect. They have the elastic tongue strap like good skate shoes have and have a very tough sole, much tougher than the 415 and more arch support than the Peshka.

Comments about Chrome Truk Bike Shoe:

Sizing runs large, i usually wear 8.5-9 men's but take 8 in these. About 3 years as a casual shoe with occasional bike sessions so far, had to wash them a few times so everything is starting to disintegrate (sole coming unglued, rear reflective panel is cracking)... but they still function, so i've deffy got my money out of them. Will buy another pair soon

Comments about Chrome Truk Bike Shoe:

I have knee pain when biking with padded/cushioned trainers. The pain goes away when using clip-in pedals but the cleated shoes are not practical to wear for me for commuting. Stiff, flat-soled shoes like these have really made a difference. I got the brick color and they look nice. The length is just right though I did order down a half size based on other reviews (ordered 10.5, normally wear 11). The one drawback has been that for some reason the right shoe is very loose fitting over the top of my foot, much more so than the left shoe which fits almost perfectly. It felt like my right foot was about to slide out of the shoe when walking. I fixed the problem by using locking shoe laces, which are elastic and fasten the shoe more tightly than regular laces. It's kind of a weird look for these shoes though!
