I wear these socks all the time, they're a good medium weight and a size large on my 7.5 feet (after machine washing and drying) puts the elastic right over my ankle -- exactly where I want it.
Merino fabrics aren't as durable as synthetic (oil based! Sigh) fabrics, it's the price to pay for the comfort I guess. The nylon and wool blend combines the benefits of both merino and synthetics into a baller pair of socks.

I bought these socks for my son, who commutes by bike in Olympia where the winters are cold and wet and the summers can alternate between warm/humid and rainy. He wears wool socks all through the year, but he likes these for their ability to wick moisture and resist odor (which is kind of important since he works at a restaurant). The only problem with these socks is that they don't last very long. My kid says they're good for a season before they get holes in the toes and heels. Since they're pricey, he asks me to get them for him as birthday and Christmas gifts. Which is sad! Chrome, Mama is not made outta money. Make these socks more durable so they last at least a year.

Comments about Chrome No Show Merino Socks:

I have been wearing Chrome socks for five years. They are still as good as ever. Not a single hole. I wear them almost every day for work, cycling, running, and hiking. I wash them about two or three times a month. They are 60% wool, medium weight, and super comfortable. Other wool socks pale in comparison, even "smart" ones that cost twice as much with less wool. I just bought more. Chrome socks for life!
