Form Meets Function

We built the Ike Windshirt with a specially-made polyester that we call "woolyester" because it's brushed to feel like wool while still being a breathable performance fabric. Our innovative hidden nylon front panels provide an extra layer of protection against the wind, and heat regulating two-way zip and pit vents keep you comfortable whether you're crushing a hill or chilling at the bar. On or off the bike, the Ike is handsome, functional and ready to roll.

Absolutely love this jacket! I bought one 2.5 years ago when I was bicycling & adored it for the temperature regularity in the cold & warmth & even on rainy days. I live in Austin, TX, & we can have some drastic temperature change days making this come in handy. I dig the classic military material & even in the green color, I mean what sane person wears black in the Texas sun? Over time I switched from pedals to motorized two wheels of fury. This jacket is still the best thing I have for that, even though it is not armoured. I had a mishap a few months ago, was adjusting something on the bike after running it, & barely caught the sleeve on the curve of the start of the exhaust, melted a hole right in the wrist area. It spread a little over time, then eventually stopped getting bigger. I have been searching on the Chrome site since then looking for this to no avail, it was not marked anywhere with its product name, nor did any of the numbers I searched come back with this jacket. I thought it lost forever....I just now found this on here searching ebay & Google for, then finding the link back here. I will be ordering a replacement now.

I should also mention that I get tons of compliments on the jacket itself. Great construction as well.

Shirt is very well made... Very stylish and great materials. However, I feel the size runs a bit small. I'm 6' and 190 lbs and can usually get away with wearing a size large, but this shirt is a bit tight. Other than that, great shirt.

This shirt is great. Rugged, comfortable, looks great. The only thing that would make it better is hand pockets

    As versatile as it gets

About 5'10" and 155 lbs., wearing a medium. Arms are snug but fit well, and the length is great for riding while still looking good off the bike. Nice drop in the back, too, which is subtle but provides enough coverage when in a pretty aggressive riding position.

Very effective windbreaker panels in the front, but note that the arms are *not* windproof, and you'll want to wear long sleeves underneath if it's remotely chilly. That's a feature, not a bug, for a cycling jacket, since you'll appreciate the breathability!

All in all, it's very nicely built with a great workwear-chic look, and has become my go-to for every cool day that doesn't demand rainwear.

great jacket. Seriously tough stuff. I've crashed multiple times and landed without a tear and it protected me pretty well. I love it so much I'm gonna get another.

I love this shirt. It looks great and it is super functional. It does run slim, but it should be - it's meant to deflect the wind (and it has a two way zipper to fine tune the fit for different situations anyway). On my last ride wearing this shirt, the pack on my back was full so when I stopped for a sub sandwich to go, I just slid the sub in the back cargo pocket and rode on home. . . best sandwich ever!

I've come to love this jacket

It took a while for this to get into the steady rotation, but now I wear it constantly - for both biking to work and casual use. Its not terribly warm, so you may need to layer. They say there are windproof panels in the chest, and you can see a lining in there, but the aren't the most windproof. Just wear an extra layer. It is a slim fitting jacket, and yes the arms are a bit tight, but not unusable. I'm 6' 175, broader shoulders and average sized arms, and the large is perfect. There isn't a ton of extra room in the arms but on the flip side there isn't a ton of extra fabric flapping around on my rides. The back pocket is there but subtle... I had a Levi's Commuter jacket that had these massive square back pockets that I hated and ultimately returned it -- couldn't really use as a casual jacket. This is subtle enough that you can wear as a casual jacket without looking too 'cyclist'. The one thing I've come to love - as minor as this may sound - is the zipper. Once zippered, you can UNzip up from the bottom up so that it doesn't bunch up around your waste while leaning over the handlebars. Kind of like buttoning the just middle buttons on a jacket. Makes all the difference for me. Five stars.
