Just the pair of boots needed for the snow
These are great for the rough days, on foot or bike, rain or shine, especially in the snow. They'll keep your feet dry and most likely warm in the coldest seasons from my experience. Decent price now since it's initial launch, I would recommend these boots. However, I just wish to get them in black now!

Cool kicks.
I bought 2 pairs. Very comfortable and versatile. They don't stay water proof for long though and stain easily. At first I could walk through puddles with no prob but after a few weeks they started getting soaked even walking through wet grass. Cool kicks though on and off the bike. Great commuting boots. Restock them!!

Great medium duty work boot.
Got this for work at an industrial food processing plant. Pretty wet and sticky environment, and I did a ton of walking. Fairly comfortable right off the bat, and only gets better. Heck, they're so comfortable they beat out my hiking boots at their own job!

Waterproof tested against water, grape juice, and air conditioning condensate. One detail that I didn't like so much is that they are pretty slippery for non-slip shoes(especially on metal walkways), but are manageable.

The tread is omnidirectional and grip best front to back, not side to side. I had a fair amount of wear on the heel at the end of 6 months. I'd imagine they'll be serviceable for about a year or more at a job with a lot of walking and climbing stairs.

For durability, it is "okay" for a work boot. The laces fray a lot in the eyelets, and really should have been the hook type lace up for the top 2 or 3 rows.

Very unique boot in terms of style, got a lot of comments. Mostly good, but lots of dubious speculation on whether they can protect you as well. For light to medium duty work, I'd give this a thumbs up.

Need a redesign
These shoes are certainly waterproof. This also translates to zero air flow to your feet. After only wearing these work boots for a few months, some of the welds were already peeling apart.

Agreed, poor quality
They are smaller than other Chrome shoes that I have owned. Also, the sole started pealing off after about 3 months. I didn't really put them to hard use. Not worth $150, by any means.

Pretty Good
They are cool in the rain and decent in the snow. Traction is pretty non existent, I think the soles should be wicked rugged for chrome durabulity standards. I wear them daily

High quality, durable, comfortable
This is the finest species of footwear I've had the pleasure to countenance in my 22 years. Protection and insulation of a work boot. Comfort of a sneaker. And they've earned me many a compliment from either sex. The in-sole is removable an washable. Have owned mine for just over a year. No complaints. No regrets.

Though they will keep your feet dry on a rainy day, the leather will absorb water when exposed for extended periods. Rub in a little mink oil and they will shed water a lot better.

get them.
Upon initial launch, Chicago received 10" of snow. Perfect day to test out the new boots! They are indeed, waterproof. Whether standing in a sloppy puddle, walking dogs through snowy fields, or riding to work; my feets stayed warm and dry. It was extremely difficult to get water to saturate the oiled leather outer. Lined with Chrome's Storm technology, toes continued to stay completely dry throughout the day. The ribbed sole provides great traction on platform pedals allowing me to ride fixed without straps. Rounding out the features is a subtle rolled edge sole which enhances the mobilty greatly. Sillhouette of a chukka, fit like a moccasin, style for days. Size 1/2 down. get 'em!

Poor quality
One big viscose stain on the heel loop and severl miner ones around the boot. It's not worth to buy a pair of $150-boot with this kind of poor quality. Moreover, the size 9 I bought is smaller than 3 other pairs of chrome shoes I have. And no any response from customer service. Very disappointed this time!!!
