- Pretty good bag
I got this bag 2 years ago and overall its been pretty good. On a bike the bag is really great. It evenly distriubutes the weight, stays on tight and is super easy to adjust while riding. The bag also has some flaws while riding. the biggest flaw is caused by the top of the roll top which gives you a little bit of a blind spot while riding. The thing that sucks most about this bag is how easily it gets scratched. By the end of the first month this bag was covered in scratches which kinda of sucks. The bag also is horrible for skating in as well. While pushing it feels like your gonna fall backwards. Its also super waterproof except for the bottom which i think is very poorly designed. The best thing about this bag though is its durability. Iv'e fallen of bikes and skateboards with it on my back and it doesnt rip. the bag was even used as a chew toy for my friends german shepard and only had a small rip at the top of the roll top. Overall i love my yalta i really just wished they wouldnt scratch so much.
- sadly disappointed
I've had chrome messenger bags for years, love them they're bulletproof, but wanted to switch to a backpack. This one looked awesome - but sadly didn't really fit the my requirements. 2 big issues - 1. the entry point for the main compartment is tapered so it's really hard to get anything in or out - practically impossible to carry a second pair of shoes. 2. laptop compartment is not very well padded and it's hard to get my 13 MBP in or out without scratching it on the zippers. Unfortunately the opening is almost too small if I put my laptop in any form of padded case. Worst thing is I tried to stick with it and make it work for me and kept hold of it longer than the return period.
